Albie Group Fishing Trips are Happening Next Week

by Ryan Collins

Hey everyone! 👋

Captain Tyler Putney of Flatliner Charters has a few openings this coming week, and the weather is looking nice, so we decided to offer two group trips for albies this Tuesday morning September 19 and Wednesday morning September 20.

I got invited to go offshore for mahi those days, but if the mahi trips fall through then I’ll likely hop onboard. If you’d like to jump onboard these trips for a shot at catching some albies then simply click a link below to register.

So far this season we've run a bunch of group fishing trips with captain Tyler and they've all been terrific.

Here's just some of what people have been saying about their experience fishing with Tyler.

I’ve been after an up north albie for 6 years, having only successfully landed a couple Spanish mackerel in my home waters of south dartmouth. I was extremely pleased to see the tie job on my 15lb leader held up catching several fish on my own rig.

Just wanted to let you know I had an awesome experience this past Saturday fishing with captain Tyler. My wife and I really enjoyed eating the catch. Thanks again!

Just wanted to give you an update on today's trip with Tyler. I'm glad we got a chance to get out there with the threat of thunderstorms today. We ending up chasing pogie schools. Then snagging/live lining  them and also fishing dead pogies. Both methods worked and we ended up catching around 10-12 fish overall. All of them slot or larger. The biggest was 37 1/2". Everyone was happy with the trip. Good day considering Tyler had to adjust his plans due to the weather. Hoping to get out there on another trip this year if more are added.

Incredibly foggy, but calm waters and we caught a ton of fish. Would definitely take another trip with Tyler. Three of us on the trip, we all ended up with a keeper. Made a refreshing ceviche appetizer followed by a simple baked filet with olive oil, lemon and bread crumbs. Keep Tyler on the circuit!

He put us on fish from the start and worked to get us around in the fog.  I would do another trip on his boat in a heart beat. Thank you for the work you do keeping the group engaged and getting these resources together.  Well done.

Met 2 other MFCC members and topped my previous personal best 2 times with the largest measuring 38”. Great day.

I'm fortunate to have grown up on the beach, and I've been fishing since kindergarten. I have great family, friends and fishing experiences to be thankful for. Just being out there is enough-catching fish is just a bonus!
