2025 Season Kickoff Details

The 2025 Season Kickoff is shaping up to be an action packed morning of fishing education and networking!  It may seem like a long ways away, but trust me it will be here before we know it.

This year's kickoff will happen the morning of Saturday March 29th from 9am-1pm at the Hyport Conference Center in Hyannis.

The My Fishing Cape Cod Season Kickoff, presented by Cape & Islands Mitsubishi, will feature professional charter captains, surfcasting experts, and a selection of local vendors.  I am just starting to recruit speakers and vendors, but so far we're going to have...

During the Season Kickoff you will learn from some of Cape Cod's most experienced charter captains and local anglers. Subjects covered in our panel-style discussion will include various types of fishing, with a focus on stripers and tuna. This will be an amazing opportunity to network and access information you can't get anywhere else.

To learn more about what to expect, please view this post which recaps last year's kickoff event.

Last year we had over 200 people attend and we raised $4,000!  This will be a wonderful opportunity to do something good for our local veteran community, while having a great time talking fishing.

Tight lines! 🎣

  • Hey Ryan, I thought you were opening up tickets to the general public on Saturday? I can’t find a link to register. Is that still an option?

    • Hi Dave! Life got busy and as of yet I have not gotten around to opening them up to the general public. However it’s at the top of my to-do list. I will send out an email and update this post as soon as I’m ready to open it up to the public. Apologies on the delay.

  • This is always a great kickoff to the season. Great opportunity to learn from some very experienced people.

I’m really looking forward to meeting some of the newer members and seeing some of the long time members again.

  • I’m unable to attend due to work but can still buy a ticket or donate. Will any of the speakers be recorded for those of us unable to make it?

    • Thank you Adriel for the offer to donate. I may create a donation page for those who can’t attend but still want to help raise money. I really appreciate that!

And yes, I do plan on recording the speakers.
