What began as the Hess family’s hobby quickly transformed into a thriving business. Inspired by classic designs and informed by extensive experience with the Cape Cod Canal’s challenging currents, they create high quality pencil poppers that perform in diverse surfcasting environments.

Joining us at this year’s Season Kickoff back on March 29th was none other than Guppy Lure owner Wayne Hess. At his table Wayne had an assortment of his super popular pencil poppers, and I’m sure many of you enjoyed speaking with him.

Up for grabs in this giveaway is Wayne’s 1.25oz Lil’ P style pencil, all in white, with of course the My Fishing Cape Cod logo placed nicely on the center back of the plug.

I’ve personally used MFCC Pencils a ton over the years and have had some really good luck with him. I think the fish like the logo! 🤣 😂 🤣 LOL. Seriously though this lure casts like a missile and has great action, even in windy/choppy conditions.

I caught this nice bass on a MFCC Pencil when the wind was howling at nearly 40 knots out of the northeast. The plug cut through the wind well and produced good action despite the tough conditions!
Here are the lure’s specs:
Weight: 1-1/4 Ounces
Length: 5-1/4 inches
Float/Sink: Float
Hooks: 1/0 4X VMC
Swivel: 220# Krok

If you're a MFCC member, then simply leave here in the forum to be entered. I’ll draw three winners who will each go home with one popper, and I’ll likely do the drawing one week from today on or around May 1st.
Good luck in this giveaway, and good luck if you make it out fishing anytime soon!
Tight lines 🎣
