Welcome to the premiere episode of the 2017 season My Fishing Cape Cod podcast!

Once again this season I look forward to bringing you this weekly podcast, with reports and intel from some of the most knowledgeable anglers in the northeast.

This coming fishing season is shaping up to be a great one, so let's get started with this episode's guests!

We start off with MFCC Creator Ryan Collins, making a rare in-studio appearance. Ryan gives us the lowdown on the MFCC Breakfast, schoolie striper action, and the upcoming MFCC group trips for haddock and striper.

We then touch base with Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle, who discusses the latest fishing action available at the Canal. He also gives us his top 3 tips for tautog fishing from the banks of the canal.

Our final guest for this episode is none other than Captain Eric Stewart from the Goose Hummock Shops in Orleans and Dennis. Eric discusses the latest happenings at the Goose Hummock, and the red-hot schoolie striper fishing that's occurred as the striper migration reaches Cape Cod.

  • I’ve been catching lots of schoolies in buzzards bay the past week. Most are loaded with sea lice on them. Also the amount of monster pogies that are swimming with them is unreal.
