Hey , it's awesome to have you aboard as member!
I will email you a series of welcome messages this week to help you get better acquainted with the website and the MFCC community.
In the meantime, you can learn more about how MFCC works by watching this video, and then scrolling below.
If you have a question or need help, simply click the chat bubble in the lower right hand corner.
We are happy to help members with questions so don't hesitate to reach out.

When you have the time, I recommend exploring the site by clicking the links in the navigation menu.
To view content that is organized by species, areas, and other useful categories, please click the "Categories" link in the menu.
To view our latest posts, simply click "Blog" in the menu.
Now that you're a member, as long as you are logged-in with your username and password, you will have full access to all videos, articles, reports, podcasts, and more.
In addition, our private, members-only forum, is one of the best places to get Cape Cod fishing advice and constantly updated fishing reports.
The forum is also a terrific place to connect with other anglers from My Fishing Cape Cod.
Please watch this video to learn how you can instantly start benefitting from our forum.
Group fishing trips are an affordable way to experience the different types of fishing Cape Cod has to offer. During past group trips MFCC members have fished for stripers, tuna, tautog, black sea bass and other species.
Now that you're a member, you will get first access to our group fishing trips. The cost is typically between $275-$600 per person depending on the type of trip. I will notify you via email whenever I schedule new trips.

As we move through the year, I will notify you via email of any upcoming events, meetups or get-togethers.
Since launching MFCC in 2011 we have hosted many seminars, events and meetups, like the My Fishing Cape Cod Breakfast (pictured below) which had over 100 people in attendance!

Each month a portion of all membership revenue is donated to local charities, and we often host fundraisers inside our forum. Last year we donated more than $7,000 to groups like the Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center, A Baby Center of Cape Cod, Rifles to Rods and others.
I encourage anyone who has a special connection to a charitable cause to reach out to me to discuss fundraising ideas. For example, we will often raffle off fishing trips and host special giveaways to help raise money for causes that our members are passionate about.

If you visit our forum with any regularity, then you will soon notice opportunities to enter member-only giveaways. I will also occasionally run public giveaways on the blog and social media, but the best items and opportunities are usually reserved for members.
Last year we gave away fishing reels, rods, and plenty of lures. In addition we gave away spots onboard tuna trips, fluke fishing trips, and more. Be sure to routinely visit the forum for your chance to enter!

Thank you for reading through all this information. I hope you now have a firm understanding of what MFCC is all about.
However, My Fishing Cape Cod is continually evolving with new additions and features being added all the time. Please keep an eye on your email and check the website for the latest updates and announcements.
Cape Cod is such a wonderful place to explore and fish, and I am so happy to have you onboard for the ride. Let's make this season the best season yet.
