New 36hr Grind Prize | $50 Gift Cards to Red Top!

by Ryan Collins

As you might know, this year's 36hr Grind Surfcasting Tournament will happen the weekend of September 27-29. Today I wanted to let you know about a brand new prize that will be up for grabs!

In addition to My Fishing Cape Cod Guppy Pencil Poppers, each angler on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams will also go home with $50 gift cards to Red Top Sporting Goods!

If you've never been to Red Top before, then let me tell you that you're in for a treat once you walk through their doors.

The shop is located at 260 Main Street in Buzzard's Bay, which is conveniently right down the street from the famous Cape Cod Canal.

Needless to say they have everything you'd ever need for fishing the canal. However, they are also fully stocked with inshore boat fishing gear, offshore fishing tackle, and a wide assortment of fresh and frozen bait.

The staff at Red Top is pretty cool too. They are a friendly bunch and they even have some members of My Fishing Cape Cod on their staff!

I am busily working on gathering more prizes for this year's 36hr Grind Surfcasting Tournament. In fact, I just received exciting news from MajorCraft America about some some epic prizes that they are going to contribute.

I will let you know about the MajorCraft prizes as soon as they arrive in the mail.

In addition, anyone who attends the awards ceremony on September 29th at 8am at Sandy Neck Beach will also have a chance at winning some prizes just for showing up!

This year's 36hr Grind awards ceremony will take place at Sandy Neck Beach in Barnstable on Sunday September 29th from 8am-10am. Even if you don't participate in the tournament you are still welcome to attend!

If you haven't already signed up for the tournament, then please complete the tournament signup form below to get registered - it's free!

Please

login or join MFCC to signup

At least one member on each team must be a member of My Fishing Cape Cod.

Over the coming weeks I will post more updates and news about prizes, as well as some changes in the rules I feel will make this tournament the best one yet.

In the meantime if you have any questions, please feel free to reply back.

Tight lines! 🎣
