Targeting Brook & Rainbow Trout During April On Cape Cod

Hello My Fishing Cape Cod! Welcome to another edition of the My Fishing Cape Cod Falmouth fishing report for the month of April. 

Each month I put together a video that is shown on Falmouth public access television, and today I wanted to share that video with you here on MFCC.

As many of you know, a lot of the ponds here on Cape Cod have been stocked with plentiful and large trout. In this video I hooked a nice rainbow right at my feet, as well as the largest brook trout of my life!

I have been using light spinning tackle and small Rapala style lures. This year the brown and brook trout have been particularly large, and these small Rapalas have been doing a great job fooling these hard fighting freshwater fish.
