Some nights on Cape Cod are pure magic. This was one of them. August 10th, 2025 – 3 hours after low tide, 10:45 PM under the glow of the August Sturgeon Moon. What started as another night fishing session turned into a catch I’m remember when this beautiful 40+ inch striped bass crushed my offering in the moonlight. The fight was incredible, the release was perfect, and the memories will last forever. There’s something special about landing a fish like this under a full moon that every angler dreams about.
