Many anglers might be tempted to stay home when the skies turn gray and rainy, but seasoned Cape Cod fishermen know better. These conditions actually tip the scales in favor of anglers targeting false albacore and bonito. Funny fish, false albacore in particular, have exceptional eyesight and can be incredibly picky. The reduced light conditions from overcast skies give anglers a significant advantage in fooling these wary species.
