Last week I shared an old favorite tautog recipe called Parmesan Crusted Tautog. Now I would imagine that many of you have plenty
This technique really works. The light lift on small taps keeps the little fish from getting a good hold on the bait, and if you feel weight on the light lift you know it’s time to set the hook. I used this successfully this morning for my best tog outing ever; ended up with over 10 keeper tog in under an hour with relatively few shorts.
Thanks for the comment Chris. Sounds like you had an epic trip! Tog are so much fun to catch, especially the big ones. I’m glad you had a great outing. đź‘Ť
