To the southeast of Cape Cod lay the infamous Nantucket Shoals, home to the largest fluke in the Northeast.
And this year I'm happy to report that I've booked another 9 Nantucket Shoals trophy fluke trips with one of the best captains around - Jimmy "The Greek" Koutalakis of On Time Sportfishing.

Captain Jimmy has become synonymous with trophy fluke and he is one of the leading authorities on fluke fishing in the Northeast.

MFCC member Charlie Murphy caught this 13.94 pound monster "doormat" fluke during one of last year's MFCC fluke trips with captain Jimmy "the Greek".
Capt Jim knows the waters of Cape Cod like the back of his hand, and anglers travel from all over the world to fish with him. With his experience and dedication, he will do everything in his power to ensure your day on the water is a special one.
Jim's boat the On Time is a 34' SeaVee Z hull with new Mercury 400 HP outboards. She is fast and comfortable, and is equipped with the latest technology and gear.
There's also a marine toilet in the console which is an added bonus.

What to Expect
During these trips captain Jim will bring you upwards of 40 miles southeast of Cape Cod and off Nantucket Island to where some of the largest fluke in the northeast can be found.
Plus you'll have a great chance of going home with a bag full of delicious fluke fillets! Fluke are really wonderful eating.
To learn more about what to expect, I'd recommend watching this episode from On The Water TV which was filmed onboard one of Jim's fluke fishing adventures.
Obviously it would be awesome to have you onboard one of these group fishing trips for fluke! They will be here before we know it.
In the meantime, here are more details about these trips:
- Number of anglers: 4-6
- Trip length: 8-12 hours
- Trip time: 6am
- Port of departure: Bass River in South Yarmouth
- Area fished: Nantucket Shoals and other hot spots southeast of Cape Cod
- Techniques used: drifting using artificial lures and bait
- Gear and tackle will be provided but you're free to bring your own
- While not mandatory, it is customary to give charter captains a tip at the end of the trip. For these fluke trips, that would equate to around $70/person.
Tight lines!
