As mentioned before, MFCC members will be the first people able to purchase tickets ($25/person). Any open seats will be made available to the public one week later on January 4th.
Local Cape fly fishing shore guide and expert fly tier Chris Kokorda will be our special guest. Chris is a fantastic speaker, knowledgeable guide, and talented fly tier!
I've had a lot of fly fishing anglers tell me they're hoping to attend, so if you're not able to get a ticket before they sell out, please have no worries. I'm happy to work with Chris on creating another event.
Today I'd like to give you a sneak peek of our venue, Fishermen's View Restaurant, which overlooks the famous Cape Cod Canal!
We've been hosting meetups and events at Fishermen's View for the past 7 years and they're always a lot of fun.
Our January 18th fly fishing event with guide and fly tier Chris Kokorda will be held in the restaurant's function room, which offers beautiful views of the Sandwich Marina and the canal's east end.
Chris's presentation will end around 11am which is when we'll have to vacate the function room. However, the FV Restaurant staff has agreed to open the bar area early for us!
Anyone who's interested is welcome to meet me at the bar for a beverage at 11am. The kitchen will open at 11:30am in case you'd like to grab an early lunch.
