Kevin Collins

Weekly Podcast Host

Hello and welcome to the inaugural episode of the 2019 My Fishing Cape Cod podcast.

Each week throughout the rest of the fishing season, we will be publishing a new weekly fishing report podcast here on the website.

My goal will be to have these podcasts ready for you on Friday afternoons, just in time for the weekend. The goal of today's podcast is to introduce you to our lineup of guests for the 2019 season.

We have a great crew for this year's podcast who will be sharing updates on the fishing from the canal to Provincetown, and many places in between.

Ryan Collins

MFCC Founder

We kick off this inaugural episode with a call to MFCC founder Ryan Collins. Ryan starts by giving a "MFCC status" report about everything new that's happening here on the website. Ryan also reports on this spring's great trout fishing, schoolie striper fishing, and fishing Buzzard's Bay for big keeper scup and tautog.

Jeff Miller

Canal Bait & Tackle

Next up is our good friend Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle. We talk with Jeff each and every week on the podcast for the latest intel about what's happening at the Cape Cod Canal. In this show Jeff provides us with his predictions for bass in the canal over the coming week, plus much more.

Sam Brown

The Goose Hummock

Next up we welcome Sam Brown of the Goose Hummock Shops in Orleans and Dennis. Sam reports good fishing for flounder and stripers of up to 30 inches in Cape Cod Bay. For the past couple of years Sam has joined us on the podcast, and we're excited to welcome him back.

Evan Eastman

Eastman's Sport & Tackle

We will cap off today's podcast episode with an exciting new guest, Evan Eastman of Eastman's Sport & Tackle in Falmouth, MA. Evan reports good fishing for schoolie stripers in the Falmouth area. Falmouth is also producing good fishing for tautog and scup, and he has heard of bluefish as well.
