What Makes These Trips Special:
Captain Mike Fowler and the Bad Dog Sportfishing crew know exactly where to find these delicious flatfish during late summer and fall. Winter flounder are not only fun to catch, but they're also some of the best eating fish you'll find in our local waters.

- Boat: 31ft BHM Downeast style lobster boat w/bathroom
- Captain: Mike Fowler (experienced and professional)
- Target Species: Winter Flounder
- What to Expect: Quality fishing with an expert crew. Excellent opportunity to learn about this fishery, meet fellow MFCC members, and bring home fresh, locally caught seafood.
These trips tend to fill up quickly, so I wanted to get this information out to you as soon as possible.
The prize: a beautiful stack of delicious winter flounder fillets, expertly prepared by Mike's crew.
For many of our members, fishing for winter flounder brings back childhood memories of fishing with their dad or grandad. It's definitely a nostalgic fishery. This photo was taken during one of our spring 2025 flounder trips.

When conditions align for giant tuna, there's nothing like it in fishing. These are the Cape's behemoths, testing your endurance, and creating stories you'll tell for years. Captain Cullen has caught tunas of up to 1,100 pounds and chasing these giants is his favorite type of fishing.
