Spring Trout Fishing 3 Cape Cod Ponds in 24 Hours

by Ryan Collins

Cape Cod isn't just stripers and bluefish. In this video, I fish three different freshwater ponds across the Cape in roughly 24 hours — chasing stocked rainbows and Eastern Brook Trout in some of the most peaceful, overlooked corners of this peninsula.

One pond has an island that's no longer an island. One had a parking lot full of trash that needed cleaning up before I even picked up a rod. And one is tucked inside the Cape Cod National Seashore, where the forest drops straight into crystal clear water and the solitude is something you have to experience to believe.

The fishing was cold, raw, and very much worth it!

Want to know exactly where I was fishing? I published detailed written reports for each trip — including pond names, parking info, and the specific spots that produced fish. All three are linked below, and the full location details are available to MFCC members.
