My first striped bass of the 2026 season — and she did not disappoint!
In this video that was filmed on April 12th, I make the trek out to a hard-to-reach backwater spot on Cape Cod to chase holdover stripers before the main migration arrives. These are fish that have been quietly sitting in the warmest, most sheltered corners of the Cape all winter — and during April, with water temps rising, they started feeding.
