Cape Cod Bay Fishing Report | Week of 9/28

It’s been one heck of a season for Cape Cod Bay fishing. Good striped bass fishing began way back in the month of May, and after a short lull, picked up again in late July. Recently folks fishing Cape Cod Bay have caught bass up to and beyond 50 pounds.

The question on everyone’s mind right now is how long will the stripers stick around for. In season’s past striped bass fishing in Cape Cod Bay came to an abrupt end, with little warning. While other years the Bay received an influx of fish late into the season.

What will happen this year is anyone’s guess.

In this Cape Cod bay fishing report we’ll recap the past week’s fishing. We’ll also take a glance forward at what to expect inside Cape Cod Bay for the week to come.
