Hey Ryan, enjoyed your shore casting for bluefish video. I use surface plugs with just one hook, a single on the back, for blues. Much easier on the fish. I don’t think I miss many hookup’s. Unlike stripers blue’s usually hit the rear, not the head of a plug.
