Ryan Collins

MFCC Founder

We invest the first segment of this podcast with a call to MFCC founder Ryan Collins. This was a wild week for Ryan, who on Wednesday went on a 100 mile run to the canyons. Ryan has also been underwater filming schools of striped bass and bunker while snorkeling, and he even encountered a tuna feeding on pogies in less than 10ft of water!

Evan Eastman

Eastman's Sport & Tackle

Next up we make a call to Evan Eastman of Eastman's Sport & Tackle in Falmouth.
Evan provides us with a full report for the Vineyard Sound, Buzzard's Bay and the Islands area, covering both surfcasting and boat fishing opportunities. Evan also reports that Bonito are here and gives us tips on where and how to target them.

Jeff Miller

Canal Bait & Tackle

Third up on today's episode is none other than Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle. Jeff reports that there are lots of pogies in the canal, so much so that a humpback whale was spotted feeding on them inside the land cut! As always, Jeff provides us with his full and thorough update on the action at the "Big Ditch."

Sam Brown

The Goose Hummock

We cap off today's show with a call to Sam Brown of the Goose Hummock Shops in Orleans and Dennis. Sam reports outstanding action at the canyons for yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna, marlin and other species. This is a must-listen interview for anyone interested in fishing offshore the Cape & Islands.
