[VIDEO] Fishing with Captain Jimmy “The Greek”: Winter Flounder, Underwater Footage, and a Limit in 2.5 Hours

by Ryan Collins

May 7th, 2026 started as a quiet, drizzly morning — and ended with a cooler full of some of the biggest winter flounder I've ever seen. In this video I join Captain Jimmy "The Greek" Koutalakis aboard his brand new 37-foot SeaVee center console for a morning of winter flounder fishing on Cape Cod.

Captain Jim shared everything with me — the rigs, the bait, the optimal drift, and the one presentation adjustment that turned the whole bite around. We also deployed an underwater camera alongside the rigs and captured rare footage of winter flounder behavior that changed the way I think about fishing for them. We caught a limit in 2.5 hours. Doesn't get much better than that!
