Gearing Up for Ice Fishing & More in 2022 | January 28 Podcast
Great podcast s we wind our way through January. Visions of 80 and sunny will have to get me through the snow blowing.
Bruno mentioned the fluke fishing and it’s never to early to think about that. Bruno mentioned the reels he uses. These high speed, low profile bait casters are great. Daiwa, Penn, Shimano, Abu Garcia, Lews, Okuma all make a version and they often come with power handles. Some have thumb bars which are great for fluke when you are in free spool or have to let your jig back down quickly. If people want to get in on those reels I would just make sure that you get one that will hold up to salt water. You can rinse them. It the saltwater built ones will do better. Tight lines everybody.
Thanks for the info Eddy!
