A September Report from Sports Port

There's a stretch each September on Cape Cod when summer refuses to let go and the fall run hasn't quite kicked into gear. This week's fishing report from Amy Wrightson of Sports Port in Hyannis captured that in-between moment perfectly. Amy shared what she has been seeing and hearing from behind the counter, from customers, from friends, and even from her own family's time on the water.

The headlines: false albacore are finally showing up along the south side, a new Massachusetts state record was just weighed in on Martha's Vineyard, bluefish remain an easy target from the beach, fluke and black sea bass are giving anglers one last chance to fill the cooler, and the striped bass bite is starting to wake up!
