How to Win an August Striper Fishing Trip with Me on My Boat

This season I've been having fun fishing with members of My Fishing Cape Cod. It's been great meeting you! Plus we've enjoyed catching some awfully nice fish in some very beautiful areas of the Cape.

In this post I would like to let you know how you could win an August striper fishing trip with me on my boat. This should be a fun trip and I am already looking forward to it!

So far this season I have selected members at random to accompany me on fishing trips. I have also sent invites to members via email and text. Sometimes they are last minute, but that is just how things work in this crazy fishing business!

I plan on continuing to send out invitations throughout 2015 and beyond. This is the least I can do to thank members for their support of MFCC. Always know I really appreciate you and what you have done to help grow our community.

How To Win This Trip

For this trip I plan on inviting 2 members.

Here is how you can win this trip:

  • Join My Fishing Cape Cod on or before July 31st.
For this striper fishing trip in August, I will randomly select a new member who joins before July 31. If you join My Fishing Cape Cod between July 1 and July 31 then your name will be put into this hat.
  • Rack up more than 10,000 points.
I will also randomly select a current member who has accumulated more than 10,000 points. Remember that the quickest way to accumulate points is to post your own reports and actively contribute in our forum.

If you're a current member without 10,000 points then have no worries. As mentioned above I plan on sending out more fishing invites throughout 2015 and beyond.

A Preview Of This Trip

During the spring I enjoyed breathtaking scenery and picture perfect weather while surfcasting with Chas Salmon, his friend Dan and Jim Murphy.

Then during June Ryan Turcotte, Kris Magnoti and myself caught 60 bass while fishing the beach at night.

I experienced an unforgettable blitz with Matt Bach while fishing on my boat.

And I speed trolled Sebiles, watched whales, filmed a Mola-Mola, and caught 20+ keepers with David Benoit.

Then Jake Vorce and I fished among the fleet, and caught bass to 25 pounds in between 100+ boats.

There have been other trips as well, and some of them have not been quite as productive! However we have managed to have plenty of fun either way.

So while I cannot guarantee we'll catch fish during this upcoming August striper trip, I feel our chances of success will be pretty good. Sometimes the Cape experiences a push of a real big bass late in the summer.

We will just have to wait and see.

Thanks again for everything you've done to help support My Fishing Cape Cod. Join MFCC on or before July 31st, or rack up more than 10,000 points to have your name included in the hat for this trip.

Good luck and as always tight lines!

Ryan

    • No problem Kevin! If you don’t win this trip then have no worries because I plan on continuing to do stuff like this throughout 2015 and beyond.

I’ll be picking the names soon (perhaps tonight). Thanks!
