I am happy to report that we will have a bunch of brand new Canal Buster plug bags as prizes for this year's My Fishing Cape Cod fishing derby.
You might recall seeing these bags before here on MFCC. These bags were designed by member Mike Webster, and they have been on sale here via the website since Christmas.
The cool thing about these plug bags is that they were designed specifically for fishing at the Cape Cod Canal. More than 90 people have already purchased these bags and I am anxious to hear how these bags perform during the 2018 season.

A Canal Buster bag will be awarded to the members who catch the largest striper for a given season - Spring (May/June), Summer (July/August), and Fall (September/October). This will be great initiative to fish the "Big Ditch" hard all season long!
If you win one of the bags, then you will notice this bag has no problems easily storing the large Guppy Pencil Poppers and Magic Swimmers which are commonly used at the Cape Cod Canal.
There are also several compartments and even a special sleeve which you can use to store metals, jigs and soft plastic baits.

The My Fishing Cape Cod derby begins May 1st and will run until 11:59PM on October 31st. There are several different categories and levels of prizes up for grabs.
