Ryan Collins
MFCC Founder
As always we kickoff this podcast with a call to MFCC founder Ryan Collins. This week Ryan has been catching some nice keeper-size fluke from shore. In addition he encountered a ton of blue runners on Wednesday, and on Thursday night Ryan and crew fought a giant rough tail ray for 3 hours from the beach! This is an interesting story that is definitely worth a listen!
Evan Eastman
Eastman's Sport & Tackle
Next up is our good friend Evan Eastman of Eastman's Sport & Tackle in Falmouth, MA. Evan reports on how the fishing is in Buzzard's Bay and Vineyard Sound for bass, bonito and albies. Evan also provides an offshore report, as well as intel for fishing the Falmouth area.
Sam Brown
The Goose Hummock
Batting third in this Friday's show is Sam Brown of the Goose Hummock Shops in Orleans and Dennis. Sam give us the run down for Nantucket Sound stripers, bluefish, ablies and bonito. Sam then relays an offshore report from Phil (co-owner of the Goose Hummock) who reports solid action with bluefin tuna.
Jeff Miller
Canal Bait & Tackle
Last but certainly not least in today's podcast lineup is Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle. According to Jeff, things are slow right now at the canal, but he thinks there is potential for a big push of fish as the hurricane and low pressure system approaches Cape Cod. Sometimes the canal does light up before/during/after big storms, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
