Hello and welcome to the My Fishing Cape Cod podcast! Today we keep the ball rolling with another episode full of valuable information, recorded earlier this afternoon.

The offshore fishing has been on fire around the Cape and Islands! The tuna bite really turned on this week.

A few hours ago I spoke with our usual cast of characters. All of the guys shared their most recent fishing information, and provided recommendations to help you prepare for the weekend.

We kick things off with Ryan Collins, who tunes in live from the tin boat with MFCC's Shane Uriot. Ryan gives us a run down of the most effective tactics he's been using to catch striped bass, and the latest fishing reports for all of Cape Cod.

We then visit Captain Eric Stewart from the Goose Hummock Shops in Orleans & Dennis. Captain Eric has landed multiple giant tuna this week, and explains how you can improve your chances of hooking a monster pelagic fish.

Our final guest is our good friend Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle in Sagamore. Jeff admits that the Canal has been on the slower side, but suggests some tactics that will help you catch big fish from the "Big Ditch" during the dog days of summer.

In this episode recorded we cover:

  • Ryan's latest fishing report for Cape Cod (0:53)
  • Informative offshore report & MFCC website updates (5:11)
  • Captain Eric's excellent offshore fishing report (7:45)
