Kevin Collins
Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of the My Fishing Cape Cod Podcast.
I'm your host Kevin Collins and it's a thrill to be back with you. For most anglers, big bass have been hard to come by the past couple weeks.
However, there are plenty of small fish in and around Cape Cod, and the big girls are there if you know where to look and what to use.
In today's podcast, our panel of experts will identify some of the factors that could motivate the schools of larger fish to move in closer to shore.
Up first is MFCC creator Ryan Collins, who will enlighten us on his recent fly fishing adventure, and the new spinning gear he just picked up for wet suiting.
Ryan will also share with us his thoughts on the 2016 commercial striped bass season, which just opened up this past Thursday.
Next we join captain Eric Stewart of the Goose Hummock Shops in Orleans and Dennis.
Eric calls into this week's show from Nantucket Island, and provides us with a full Bluefin tuna briefing.
To close out the show we hear from Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle.
Jeff shares with us a very optimistic report for the Cape Cod Canal, as well as some new information about the specific live eel techniques which are working best in the Big Ditch.

My daughter has never hooked into a stripper and was hoping to get her into one this week while we are in Dennis. I was wondering if you could recommend a bank location were a father/daughter team could be successful? We don’t need to land z big one….any size would do just to have the excitement of a first stripper.
Thank you very much!!!!? Peter
