Scorton Fly Co. Giveaway!

by Cooper Mark

We're excited to launch a new giveaway featuring hand-tied Cape Cod flies from Scorton Fly Co., this is my new project started just a few weeks ago @scortonflyco One lucky winner will receive a selection of my hand-tied patterns, built to be fished on sinking lines in the shallow beaches, backwaters, and flats of Cape Cod!

About Scorton Fly Co.

I’m an MFCC member and the fly tier behind Scorton Fly Co., hand-tying flats-style patterns right here in Sandwich. I specialize in crab and sand eel patterns crafted specifically for the shallow water conditions found around our beaches, backwaters, and flats.

Just recently I’ve begun to sell my flies. You can find my work and place orders through my Instagram page or via private message on the MFCC forum. Each fly is made to order with customizable options to make it exactly how you want it.

What’s in the Fly Bundle

This handpicked selection is built for fishing sinking lines in Cape Cod’s skinny water:

  • 3 Crab Flies 1 olive, 1 olive and tan, 1 fiddler crab – Designed for fooling spooky and finicky stripers. When bass are cruising shallow water looking for crabs, this pattern is deadly.
  • 2 Craft Fur Sand Eel Flies (Olive Over White) – An essential pattern for Cape Cod, imitating one of the most important baitfish in our waters.

Flies Made to Fish

This collection of flies was hand selected to fool a striper feeding in shallow water. Scorton Fly Co. is a new project of mine, and these patterns are built to fish — throw on a sinking line and work them along the beaches, backwaters, and flats wherever you find stripers cruising skinny water.

My Fishing Cape Cod Members can enter by leaving a comment here in the forum.

We'll draw the winner on or around Wednesday, August 12th.

Tight lines, and good luck!
