False albacore will sometimes arrive in Cape Cod's waters as early as mid-August, which is now right around the corner.

Albies are one of the most exciting inshore fish to catch on Cape Cod, and in this video you'll get a bird's eye view of some epic albie blitzes from years past.

This footage was filmed off Cape Cod on September 21st, 2022. To learn exactly where this footage was filmed, members of My Fishing Cape Cod can view the map below.

  • Wonderful video – amazing to see them in this view – makes you think a lot about what you are seeing from the boat and why by the time you cast to a spot they are often elsewhere

    • I’m glad you enjoyed the vid Jon. Over the past several years I’ve definitely learned a lot from watching the fish via drone. Gluck this upcoming funny fish season!
