Recreational Tuna Fishing with Captain Cullen

Fishing for recreational bluefin tuna is perhaps the most adrenaline-pumping fishing Cape Cod has to offer.

Fortunately for us, this year we again have one of the top tuna captains on Cape guiding us to the bite.

Captain Cullen always has a pulse on where the tuna are and what they're biting.

Captain Cullen of Cape Star Charters is as plugged-in to the tuna bite as it gets.

Over the years Cullen has put members of My Fishing Cape Cod onto more than 100 bluefin tuna and counting.

Cullen uses top of the line equipment and has an extensive network of contacts to help him stay on the fish.

These tuna trips will be onboard Cullen's brand new 2024 custom built 33' Conch, equipped with the best in-class electronics and powered by twin 300hp Yamaha Four-Stroke engines which cruise at a steady 40 knots.

The 33' Conch is widely regarded as the finest center console fishing boat in its class, and it's the perfect boat for casting to bluefin tuna.

The Conch provides a steady and safe platform with ample amount of deck space to ensure your trip is both comfortable and exciting.

Tuna are great fighters and catching them is the apex of Cape Cod fishing.

During our Rec Tuna trips you will be targeting smaller bluefin tuna in the 50-200 pound range that you can bring home to eat. Not only is fishing for tuna exhilarating, but the meat of the bluefin is one of the most highly prized seafoods on Planet Earth.

You'll have a great chance of hooking into Cape Cod's most powerful fish, and going home with a bag full of delicious tuna steaks! It's not unusual to go home with $400+ worth of tuna meat!

Seared or eaten raw, bluefin tuna is as good as it gets.

The cost for rec tuna trips is $590/person for My Fishing Cape Cod members. Members may purchase spots onboard trips for their non-member friends and family.
