Right now I am offering one type of membership. In the future, MFCC may offer stuff for groups, special bells and whistles for a few more dollars, etc. You’ll never get less than promised, but you may have an opportunity to change your membership and get more when we invent something really nifty and useful (at least I hope I will.) MFCC won’t increase your membership fee in any given term, but when your current membership expires, don’t be too put off if it may get more expensive, if we need to up the fee to cover the bills. Server space is not free, nor is gas, gear and bait. I don’t like surprises (except at Christmas…) and I assume you don’t either.
You agree that you’ll pay the membership fee and any required taxes in order to get access to the good stuff. If you have a membership account, money from your credit card, paypal account or however you decided to pay us once a month will be taken from your account as we agreed. If you want to switch accounts, let me know. Or you can change by clicking here.
If your card “bounces” then I’ll contact you and possibly suspend your account until you pay- that’s only fair. I can’t give you your money back after you’ve paid for that month. If you do have a problem and need to cancel your membership, it may take me up to two weeks to get all my ducks in a row and make sure I do all the paperwork. If you’re accidentally charged again in the meantime, I’ll refund your money and apologize for being slow, but not everything is automated here-I'm a fisherman and sometimes I may screw up, despite my best efforts not to. I'll do my best to make it right, and I really appreciate your patience. I'm sorry you’re cancelling your membership, but I understand MFCC can’t be a perfect fit for everyone, but I hope you’ll get the best service MFCC can give you and at least that will make you happy.
I’d love to monitor everything, but I can’t. Folks live all over the world, and I need my sleep. Coffee isn’t always a solution- sleep is still necessary. I will be in the forums, monitoring the chat, and so forth. I might edit out stuff that’s particularly unpleasant and not let you know before I do so. Trust me, it wasn't that interesting, anyways. I’d share the joke if it was good enough.
Your real remedy, if you don’t like the site or aren’t finding it useful, is to cancel your account. You pretty much can’t sue me for anything else, and besides that, who really wants to sue people who are just trying to help, offer advice and useful information and be friends?
Refunds
Truth be told, what MFCC provides is a lot of intellectual content via emails, videos, and other online content and as such, taking a return isn’t exactly possible. Let’s face it, it’s not often that you take a book home, read it and if you didn’t like it, return it to the store. That’s what libraries are for, right?
All that said, if you feel like you didn’t get what was promised, I will do everything I can to make it right. I am a nice guy and I also feel like it’s fairly reasonable for you to let me know within 30 Days of a purchase that you aren’t happy with what you purchased in order for me to provide any sort of refund.
That said, I respond really well to polite, reasonable requests and want you to find MFCC products useful. So, drop me a line and we’ll work it out.
Delivery/Shipping Policy
Most MFCC products are online in nature and are delivered via electronic download, email, participation in online forums and links to hosted videos and other premium content. If ever there is a time when you don’t receive your product, just contact me and I’ll make sure you get what you need.
Data and security
Everything is done to avoid any slowdown or unexpected downtime of the services, but it is not possible to guarantee these slowdowns, or to foresee any downtime. No network or server problem or any other breakdown can be covered under any warranty. No repayment can be considered for any break or stop of the services, damage or data loss except under extreme circumstances where any such outage lasts beyond seven (7) consecutive days, in which case, a prorated refund may be offered at the sole discretion of My Fishing Cape Cod. Several systems have been set up to ensure a security of the content.
Use of your personal data
By using MFCC's subscription based products, you consent that the site uses the personal data which concerns you, and that you have willingly and voluntarily transmitted. This data is necessary so we can contact you about upcoming events, newsletters, additional site benefits, maintain your account and other mutually agreed upon reasons. By signing up for subscription based services, our forums and associated benefits, you agree and specifically allow us to contact you in this manner unless otherwise specifically notified in writing.
We promise to not sell, rent or otherwise transmit your personal data to third parties without your express prior permission. If you believe your personal information has been transmitted by MFCC or another user to a third party in violation of this agreement, please notify us immediately and we will take action to resolve the matter in a timely fashion. My Fishing Cape Cod is not responsible for any personal data you have willingly provided in the open forums to others that may or may not be subsequently misused.
We reserve the right to share non-personal, disaggregated information in collective form with third parties, for legitimate statistical, demographic, business white paper, business, research or other purposes only.
When we do appeal to third parties in the processing of your personal information, we ensure that they respect our rules of Confidentiality as well as any appropriated confidentiality or security measures.
We might transmit information to third parties in precise circumstances, in particular among others, requests from public authorities, in order to prevent fraud or imminent damages, but also to ensure the security of our network and services.
You can also refuse to provide us personal information and / or refuse the cookies in your browser. However, this might disrupt the functioning of some services or features.
With a simple request, you can access your personal information, to correct or erase them in case of mistake.
