Lauren Catches a Cow | Cape Cod Fishing Report July 14

The seas were flat calm with overcast skies and a little fog as Lauren and I splashed the boat. It's been a little while since I used my boat, so it felt good to be back on the water. I think Lauren was excited too, considering this was her first time on the water this season.

From what I've been hearing, the bass have definitely settled into their summertime holding patterns. The all too familiar "dog days of summer" or "summer doldrums" terms have been kicked around this week, so I wasn't really sure what to expect.
