Ryan Collins

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you had a great holiday. In this post I'd like to update you about an exciting new addition to the My Fishing Cape Cod website.

Beginning at 9:30am on Saturday December 7th, the episode Surf Fishing Cape Cod's Fall Run will be available for streaming here on the site.

This episode originally aired on NBC Sports Boston during January of 2018, and it is one of my favorite episodes!

Ryan Collins

Creating new Cape Cod fishing content has been a daily ritual since I launched My Fishing Cape Cod in 2011.

Maintaining the website, social media channels, podcasts, forums, videos and now our TV show on NBC SportsBOSTON is a lot of work! However it is a labor of love and I enjoy it thoroughly.

In this post I want to check-in and let you know what I've been working on most recently. I have a lot in store for MFCC members and fans alike, to help us get through the cold winter months which lay ahead.

November 7th Striper Blitz Caught On Drone

Ryan Collins

The weather is also a lot more difficult during November, and with less fish around, successfully finding and catching is much more of a challenge.

So far this November I had been skunked, but that all changed yesterday morning at sunrise. As soon as I stepped foot onto the beach I could see hundreds of birds and bass swirling on the surface!

MFCC Presents: Underwater Tog

Ryan Collins

This past Saturday November 2 my friend Jay Mazzola and I headed out again in search of tautog.

We were coming off this great tog trip from the weekend before, and we were both eager to get back into the blackfish!

However, due to the gale force winds we experienced last week, the water conditions on Saturday were still quite murky and the water clarity was poor.
