So far this 2021 season I've been having fun running weekly giveaways for our members inside our private forum.
Recent items up for grabs have included a Tsunami SaltX 4000 spinning reel, Crippled Herring lures, and even fishing trips!
In this post I just wanted to recap who won some of our recent giveaways, as well as give you a preview of the bluefin tuna trip giveaway which is happening this week on My Fishing Cape Cod.

Tsunami SaltX 4000 Winner
The Tsunami SaltX 4000 giveaway was a big hit last week inside our forum, with over 150 members entering for a chance to win.
The SaltX is a fully sealed reel, which means you can dunk it in saltwater and get it all sandy and it will still work just fine.
In addition to the reel, the crew from Tsunami Tackle also provided us with a hat and some shirts to giveaway.
I'm happy to report I randomly drew the winner of the SaltX giveaway on Saturday morning.

Tautog Trip Winner
Back on February 13th I launched a special tautog giveaway for new members who joined My Fishing Cape Cod between Feb. 13-21.
Tautog are a hard fighting fish which arrive on Cape Cod during the early spring. Pictured below is Steve Kwietniak with a big tog he caught aboard this 2019 MFCC group trip.
Up for grabs was a free spot onboard the May 1, 2 or 3 group fishing trips for tautog, valued at $250.

Crippled Herring Giveaways
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been chatting with Pete Rosko, creator of the famous Crippled Herring Lure.
Pete was nice enough to send us a batch of 1/2oz Crippled Herrings, which I have been randomly giving away over the past couple of weeks. In addition, I've been including some MFCC hats in the giveaways.
The Crippled Herring imitates many different types of baitfish, and works well for stripers, bluefish, albies and many other species.
Wearing a MFCC hat is a good way to get recognized by other members from the site.

Bluefin Tuna Trip Giveaway
