Ryan Collins
Yesterday morning while fishing a shallow water sandbar off Cape Cod, a school of hundreds of striped bass appeared from out of nowhere and began circling around my feet.
Most of the fish were schoolies but I did see some bass in the 40 inch class swimming in about 3 feet of water just a few yards from my ankles!
Fortunately I had the GoPro cameras rolling, and I was able to capture the moment on video, and share the experience with you today.

That is being one with the fish. Great stuff.
I heard there were even more fish in that area today.
cool, just left there yesterday, had mostly small bass on this trip, 2 weeks ago there were some bigger ones . That’s fishing , it changes every day. thanks for the video, Bob
Sounds like a great trip Bob. Keep us posted next time you come back down Cape.
What a great experience!
Glad you were there for it bud!
Awesome. Any hits from the big ones, Ryan?
No, I was not able to coax the larger ones into hitting.
I would say I saw 15 schoolies to every 1 real large bass.
