by Ryan Collins

Come meet people who love to fish the beach at our 5th annual Surfcasters' Meetup!

The meetup will take place from 8am-10am this Saturday May 11th at Sandy Neck Beach in Barnstable. This a free meetup that's open to My Fishing Cape Cod members as well as the general public.

You'll also have the opportunity to participate in a completely optional long distance casting competition! In addition we'll have free coffee, some special prizes and free giveaways.

A special bonus prize will be awarded to the first person who catches a fish during the meetup!

Simply click here to register online - it's FREE!

If you enjoy fishing from shore and would like to meet other people who share similar interests, then this meetup is for you.

The meetup will be a fun excuse to get together, see some familiar faces, and meet new people who love fishing-especially fishing on Cape Cod.

The optional long distance casting competition always provides excellent entertainment. Anyone who attends the meetup is welcome to participate in the competition, but there's no pressure to join in.

Just click here to let me know if you plan on attending. 😎

You can get an idea of what to expect by watching the video recap below of the 2022 Surfcasters' Meetup.

On this day the wind was blowing from the Northeast at 30 knots, and the air temperature was in the 40's, but that didn't stop us from having a great morning.

Once again, the meetup will take place from 8am-10am on Saturday May 11th at Sandy Neck Beach in Barnstable. This a free meetup that's open to My Fishing Cape Cod members as well as the general public.

The long distance casting competition will start at 8:30am sharp. The rules for the distance-casting competition are currently being finalized. We'll go over them at the meetup.

If you plan on attending, then please just let us know by entering your name and email address below. This will help me understand how many people to expect.

Tight lines and I hope to see you there! 🎣

I'm fortunate to have grown up on the beach, and I've been fishing since kindergarten. I have great family, friends and fishing experiences to be thankful for. Just being out there is enough-catching fish is just a bonus!
