Scenes from Wood End Light, Provincetown

Wood End Light was first lit in 1872. It sits at the southwest end of Long Point in Provincetown, and acts as a navigational aid for boats heading into Provincetown Harbor.

During June of 2021 I hiked to the lighthouse on a foggy, overcast morning. I was the only human for as far as the eye could see. You can click play below to watch video from my hike. 👇

On this day a salty breeze blew through the dunes, and the chirps and calls of terns and birds filled the air. It was a serene and peaceful experience.

I hope this quick video clip helped to "transport" you back to the dunes of the Cape. I enjoy sharing peaceful scenes of the Cape whenever possible, and I hope you have a great rest of your day.
