Hello My Fishing Cape Cod! I hope you have been having a great start to your Memorial Day Weekend.

Today I am excited to let you know about an upcoming derby drawing for two packs of Al Gags Whip-It-Fish! Anyone who submits a 36 inch or larger striper to the My Fishing Cape Cod Derby before Memorial Day (May 28) will be eligible to win.

If you are not familiar with the derby, then you can click here to view the leaderboard, and also learn more about derby rules, prizes and competition. The rest of this post will further explain the prize for this drawing, and how you can win.

The Prize

First and foremost, the prize for this upcoming Memorial Day drawing will be 2 packs of the 2 ounce green mackerel Al Gags Whip-It-Fish with replacement tail, and a 3 ounce blue mackerel Al Gags Whip-It-Fish with replacement tail.

Weighing in at 2oz and 3oz, these Whip-It-Fish can be used to target subsurface feeding striped bass, whether fishing from shore, boat or the canal.

On Memorial Day (May 28) we will randomly draw a winner from the pool of members who have submitted a striper of at least 36 inches to the derby.

How To Enter

Submitting fish to our derby is simple and easy. First, you must be signed up as a member of My Fishing Cape Cod. If you are not a member, then you can click here to sign up and to learn more about membership.

Catch and release is highly encouraged, which is why we ask you take a length and girth measurement of your catch. Keep the fish wet at all times, and do your absolute best to make the measuring process as quick as possible, without sacrificing accuracy.

Once you have your length and girth measurements, head on over to the Submit Your Catch page to submit your fish within 48 hours of catching it. Include all the required information and send at least one high resolution photo that clearly shows the size of the fish to [email protected].

That's pretty much it! As long as you have submitted a fish of at least 36 inches into the derby before 11:59PM on May 27th, you will be included in this special Al Gags drawing.

Tight lines! ?
