Hello everyone and welcome to another fun filled edition of the My Fishing Cape Cod Podcast.

I'm your host, Kevin Collins, back with you for another exciting week of fishing. This is our final episode for the month of July and the action is heating up!

Usually these podcasts are for "members only" but for July we have decided to make these podcasts available for everyone to listen to.

MFCC Creator Ryan Collins joined us live from the deck of his boat, The Miss Loretta. Ryan was getting into some bass while also scouting out some potential areas to fish from shore later in the week.

We were then joined by Captain Eric Stewart of the Goose Hummock Shops in both Orleans and Dennis. Captain Eric had very encouraging news on the bluefin tuna front. He reports spotting thousands of tuna just south of Cape Cod and the Islands.

Lastly, Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle joined the show. Jeff reports an influx of fish on the east end of the Cape Cod Canal. He also provided tips on when to fish and what baits to use to help catch a monster bass this weekend.

I hope everyone gets a chance to get out and do some fishing on this gorgeous late July weekend on Cape Cod. Until next week - Tight Lines!

  • I live in Falmouth and interested in where to attempt surfcasting locally to Falmouth? Assuming you would recommend eels?
