There are still plenty of surfcasting opportunities here on Cape Cod, but the season is certainly starting to wind down.
Soon the striped bass population will have migrated south, and the long off-season wait until spring will begin.Unless you decide join me this December in Costa Rica!
Back during December of 2015 I experienced firsthand the thrill of surfcasting the undeveloped beaches of Costa Rica.
This December 9-16 my wife Lauren and I are offering a limited amount of spots for members of My Fishing Cape Cod interested in surfcasting the beaches of this terrific country.

This trip is also perfect for members (and/or your significant other) who want to experience Costa Rica's amazing wildlife and pristine natural environments, while relaxing in a beautiful and tranquil setting.
During my last trip to Costa Rica I caught roosterfish, Spanish mackerel, crevalle jacks and other species.
My wife Lauren and I also hiked to jungle waterfalls and visited eco-preserves. We went out on boats and hung out at the local bar. Aside from fishing, you will experience one of most scenic and gorgeous places on Earth.
We have a limited amount of beachside cabinas available for members who would like to come along on this trip.
Tight lines!
Ryan.
Wish I knew about this trip sooner. My wife just booked a suprise trip to Costa Rica for my family for February. I would love to pick your brain on some suggestions about traveling and fishing there
Sounds like a nice trip your wife has planned. What a great surprise!
What area of Costa Rica will you be visiting?
