The rain has passed and tonight is now shaping up to be a gorgeous evening for surfcasting the beaches in this particular area of Cape Cod.
Surfcasting this section of the Cape's peninsula takes some serious effort for many of us (myself included).
Fortunately for me, our network of hundreds of My Fishing Cape Cod members has come through in the clutch once again.
One of our members has provided me with his cottage rental, which is conveniently located next to some of the Cape's most productive beaches.

I will be here through Saturday morning, surfcasting as many tides as I can muster! The cottage is terrific, and I have decided to coin it as the "Fish House."
This is a short post because I want to get a couple hours of snooze time before I hit the beach. Please stay tuned here to the website as well on our Facebook and Instagram page for more updates.
Tight lines!
I’m here with my son and nephew and hope we can find stripers. They’ve been looking forward to this for months. From the buckeye state ?
So much fun to run away from the world. Enjoy your adventure.
Looks like we have a nice T-storm about to roll through. I will keep you posted!
Enjoy that! look forward to hearing how your venture there pans out, ryan.
Slow night last night, but I didn’t end up hiking all the way out to the best spot because I was concerned about getting hit by a lightning storm.
I have a good feeling about tonight – we shall see how it goes!
Cute name – I like it! As for intel about the boats, the boats are doing very well. Off Rae Point and the dropoff at Herring Cove. If I hear anything else, I will let you know.
Awesome intel, thank you Dave.
Lets hope those fish move in tight to the beach later tonight!
Headed to the Cape next week. Like to check out that cottage while we are there. We are staying in West Dennis. We fish around Chatham. Seeing any bait ? thanks , Bob
Nice Bob! Sounds great. I will email you more information about the “Fish House” cottage later this week.
Yes, last night I found sandeels in the 6-9 inch range washed ashore on the beach. The bass bite was slow last night so I am going to try a completely different area this evening.
