Jigging for Cape Cod Bluefin Tuna

On Sunday August 27th myself and two members from My Fishing Cape Cod caught two bluefin tunas on jigs with Cullen Lundholm of Cape Star Charters.

If you have never caught a bluefin tuna before on a jig, then you will be in for a treat when it finally happens for you!

I had the cameras rolling as myself, captain Cullen and My Fishing Cape Cod members Aaron Perlmutter and Paul Dunn, took turns battling a 77 inch and a 66 inch bluefin tuna.

  • I agree Ryan, just the experience of being out there early in the morning with the minke and humpback whales around us, the many types of seagoing birds birds hovering and diving everywhere and a great bunch of guys
was phenomenal. Catching two bluefin tuna was the icing on the cake, and that was delicious indeed. Captain Cullen put us in the right spot, using the right jigs to get those beauties. What a day.
