The New England Fishing Expo is right around the corner, and we encourage you to go check it out!

Dan Kenney, a member of the MFCC community, has put a show together for primarily freshwater fishermen, but also with exhibits for inshore saltwater fishing.

Lauren and I are currently in Costa Rica so we aren't able to attend, however we encourage you to go check it out! The show is being held in Boxborough, MA the weekend of January 24-26 at the Boxboro Regency Hotel & Conference Center.

Friday the show will be open from 1pm - 8pm, Saturday from 10am - 7pm and Sunday from 10am - 5pm.  Tickets are $12 and free to kids 12 and under. Parking is free.

Here is a Google Map of the show location. ?

In addition to the vendors, there will also be seminars every day throughout the weekend.  There are a wide range of topics, such as:

  • Learning about sonar
  • Jigging on the ice
  • Haddock and bottom fishing
  • Cold water bass tactics
  • Inshore light tackle for albies, blues and stripers + more

You can see the whole seminar schedule by clicking here.

And don't forget about the trout pond! At the pond kids and adults can catch trout all day, for free.

The trout pond is a great way to get kids involved at the show, and it always ends up being a family favorite.

For more information about the show, visit www.nefishingexpo.com.

I hope you enjoy the show! If you end up making it to Boxboro, then please let me know how it goes.
