Ryan Collins

MFCC Founder

We kick off this podcast with a call to Ryan who reported live from Cape Cod Bay. Ryan was fishing this morning on a MFCC group trip with captain Cullen of Cape Star Charters. The action was slow when we spoke with Ryan, but the crew ended up catching bass up to 45 inches in length later on in the trip, at around 12 noon today.

Jeff Miller

Canal Bait & Tackle

Next up is our good friend Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle. Jeff provides us with a full canal report, and news of big fish in the 40lb class now being caught with greater regularity. 25 pound fish are much more common than last week at this time. There are lots of tinker mackerel throughout the canal right now.

Sam Brown

The Goose Hummock

Next up we welcome Sam Brown of the Goose Hummock Shops in Orleans and Dennis. Sam provides us with his Nantucket sound surf casting and boat report, as well as a full update for Cape Cod Bay.

Evan Eastman

Eastman's Sport & Tackle

We will cap off today's podcast episode with Evan Eastman of Eastman's Sport & Tackle in Falmouth, MA. Evan provides us with his Falmouth surf casting report, as well as updates for fishing in and around Woods Hole and Vineyard Sound for striped bass and bottom fish.
