The Fall Tuna Bite Is On!

Hello MFCC crowd! This is Captain Bob Hovey from "Troll Naked" apparel and charters. I run a 26' Sea Vee with a 300 Verado on the back, and I want to give you guys my most recent tuna report.

I was finally able to get out the day after a very hard northeast blow this past weekend. This was immediately after Ryan caught some nice bass from the beach in some pretty big surf.

For this trip I launched from a different ramp because the seas had not calmed down enough for me to feel comfortable shooting across the Bay. I ran all over creation trying to find bait but to be honest we had a pretty difficult time.

We were losing valuable fishing time, especially because the best tuna bite has been happening at first light. Instead of typing out the rest of this report I decided to call-in to the MFCC report hotline and record an audio report for you guys.

Overall this was a great trip and a fantastic experience!

Fortunately we had my buddy Elijah Reynolds nearby, who was able to snap some photos for us...

Thank you all for checking out this report. I wish you the best this week and this weekend if you decide to give tuna a try.

I would also LOVE to do a tuna charter for any My Fishing Cape Codders who are interested in chasing giants. If you'd like to give tuna fishing a try and are interested in scheduling a charter, then please email me via [email protected]
