Today I wanted to share a quick underwater video clip of some tinker mackerel trolling footage I captured on May 30th while fishing onboard one of our group fishing trips.

Onboard for this memorable trip were My Fishing Cape Cod members David Faherty, Rick Davis, Bruce Perlman and Bruce's friend Art. Captain Cullen put us on the fish as he typically does.

During this trip we started by catching tinker mackerel off the East end of the canal in Cape Cod Bay, and then live-lined them for stripers in upper Buzzard's Bay. I captured the footage using a GoFishCam.

With the GoFishCam, I attach the camera to my fishing line and position the mackerel about 3 feet in front of the camera. I then slow troll the rig which works better than simply allowing the mackerel to swim free.

I'm fortunate to have grown up on the beach, and I've been fishing since kindergarten. I have great family, friends and fishing experiences to be thankful for. Just being out there is enough-catching fish is just a bonus!
