New MFCC Improvements + January 17 Fishing Classes

The past several weeks have been all "butt in seat" time for me as I work on improving the MFCC website for the 2015 season. I do all the website work myself, so rest assured that new content will be published here on MFCC beginning after the New Year.

In this post I will highlight a few of the new forum improvements here on MFCC, as well as the next in-person fishing class taking place on January 17 at Bass Pro Shops.

A quick tour of the new forum design

I made some improvements to the forum over the past couple weeks. Check out the below video to see what’s new.

New content coming post-New Year

One big goal I have over the next few weeks is to better organize the content here on MFCC. Did you know there are more than 500 posts and videos here on the site?

I sure didn’t until I started digging through it all!

This week I created a new page specifically about How To Fish The Cape Cod Canal. Check out the below video to see how it works.

I would like to create similar pages for surfcasting the beach, boat fishing, tuna and other popular topics.

January 17 fishing classes

I am very excited that in just a couple of weeks I will be able to hang out and talk fishing with several small groups of MFCC members and fans. This will be the first time I’ve held classes of this sort and I am eager to get it going.

On January 17 at Bass Pro in Foxboro I’ll be offering several classes about fishing for striped bass at the Canal, on the beach and out on the boat. My idea is to keep class sizes small (5 people or so).

I think by keeping classes small I’ll be better able to make the day worthwhile for everyone, and help each other out on an individual basis.

Space is limited so if you are interested in attending, then please enter your name and email address here and I will be in touch post-Christmas regarding the details.

Have a spectacular Holiday!

Enjoy your holiday! I hope it is a terrific one.

I will be in touch soon after Christmas, and will start posting bucketloads of new content come early 2015, once all this “butt in seat” website work is complete.

Tight lines and take care,

Ryan
