With your help I know our forum will continue to be one of the most helpful and valuable online communities in the Cape Cod, and greater New England region.
Tight lines!
Hey ryan i just started fishing the canal this year and am not sure i know what im doing are there any classes you ever have or anything wanna learn how to jig without losing the jig on every cast lol thanks
LOL, yes Mike it is definitely possible to fish the canal without losing a jig on every cast (I know what that feels like).
First step would be to download our Canal etiquette guide: https://myfishingcapecod.com/canal-courtesy/
Then there is my 8 part eCourse: https://myfishingcapecod.com/cape-cod-canal-ecourse/
Also be sure to listen to our weekly podcast with Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle. Even better, go visit Jeff sometime in the afternoon and he can help too.
And the best resource of course would be the new forum! 😉
Hi Ryan,
I was just wondering if I can be a member of your club for just 4 months during the year. I live in Jacksonville, FL and belong to the Florida Surf Casting Club. I have a home in RI and am here from June through Sept. I enjoy your website and appreciate your time and advice. Thanks!
Gerry
Hey Gerry, good to hear from you!
Yes you are free to be a member for as long as you want. You can come and go as you please 🙂
Right now I don’t have a 4 month membership option, but you can signup here https://myfishingcapecod.com/join-for-a-buck/ and then cancel your membership whenever you’d like.
You can cancel with one click by going to your Billing page, or of course you can contact us at anytime and we can take care of the cancellation for you.
I am new to fishing, well not new but just retired and haven’t fished in years, and want to fish for stripped bass off the shore. I live in Kingston, MA. any recommendations as to where are good spots to fish.
Nice Cameron! Congratulations on the retirement.
Yes there are plenty of great spots to fish in the Kingston area.
