We have a full panel of our usual guests on this week's show, covering everything from fishing the canal, to fishing for bluefin tuna.
It is hard for me to believe that we are almost done with another season of these podcasts. To date we have recorded more than 100 episodes since 2013!

Ryan Collins
MFCC Founder
We start today's podcast with a call to MFCC founder Ryan Collins. Ryan provides us with a surfcasting report for the beaches of Cape Cod Bay, Vineyard Sound and Nantucket Sound. According to Ryan the striper fishing from shore has been good, but there have not many albies to speak of.
Sam Brown
The Goose Hummock
Second-up in today's show we welcome Sam Brown of the Goose Hummock Shops in Orleans and Dennis. Sam reports a strong bite for bluefin tuna. The giant tuna season is now closed, but there are still a lot of recreational blue fin around Cape Cod. Sam also reports of a mahi that washed up along the beaches of Brewster!
Jeff Miller
Canal Bait & Tackle
Next is our friend Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle. According to Jeff, the post-storm Cape Cod Canal striper bite has been consistent. In fact, yesterday there was plenty of topwater action with schoolies at the East End. There are still a few stray albies around, but the albie bite is definitely not as consistent as it was a couple weeks ago.
Evan Eastman
Eastman's Sport & Tackle
We cap off today's podcast with a call to Evan Eastman of Eastman's Sport & Tackle in Falmouth. Evan reports that the striper bite in Falmouth is still holding strong. Migrating bass have been sticking around the Falmouth, Vineyard Sound and Elizabeth Islands' region, and fishing for tautog in this area is also quite good.
