Ryan Collins
MFCC Founder
We kick off this episode with a call to MFCC founder Ryan Collins, who's been successfully targeting bluefin tuna while live-lining bluefish.
Ryan reports a great offshore bite, as well as a big biomass of striped bass closer to shore. Things are shaping up for a great fall run here on Cape Cod!
Capt. Cullen Lundholm
Cape Star Charters
We next welcome Capt. Cullen Lundholm to the MFCC Podcast for the first time in 2018. Cullen landed a 1130 pound tuna a few days ago, and walks us through that experience.
There certainly are giant bluefin tuna in Cape waters, but smaller fish are also pushing into the region. The next few months should provide excellent fishing, so check out Cullen's charter openings here.
Sam Brown
The Goose Hummock
Next up is Sam Brown of the Goose Hummock Shops in Orleans and Dennis, who you might recognize from season #1 of My Fishing Cape Cod TV on NBC SportsBOSTON.
Sam has been busy at the shop, but has managed to get on the water in search of both giant to recreational-sized bluefin tuna. Striped bass have also been biting in Cape Cod Bay and off the backside beaches.
Jeff Miller
Canal Bait & Tackle
We wrap up this week with our good friend Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle. We talk with Jeff each and every week on the podcast for the latest intel about what's happening at the Cape Cod Canal.
During our call with Jeff you will learn about what's going on in the canal, as well as the best time and tide to target striped bass, bonito, and other funny fish.
